About Me

Stefanie Hirsh is the 6th Grade Humanities Teacher at Our Community School. She holds a degree in Psychology (2005) from California State University, Northridge, as well as a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential (2009) that was cleared through the University of California, Los Angeles. Prior to working at OCS, Stefanie worked in the independent and private school sectors. Educating young minds has her heart and she finds immense joy in being a part of her students' journeys in learning not only about language arts and social studies but how those topics cultivate knowledge of the world we live in and how to successfully navigate society. Outside of education, she enjoys spending time with her 3 kids and dog, reading, writing, hiking, taking photos, and camping. Life is full of beauty and promise, we need just to look and work toward it every day!
